New litters upcoming and planned related to Play A While

Soon Play A While Marimekko, “Miki” will have a litter by Ch Khalibadh Snögubbe at kennel Swaara. Miki is from what is now named the “Finnish litter” by Ch Forgetmenot Flying Star out of Ch Play A While Late Red Autumnhop Ale because everyone in the litters are named after Finnish brands.

Miki's litter sister Play A While Arabia, “Våga” has recently been mated to Ch Twyborn Chinese Dragon and hopefully a litter will be born at kennel Nota's Crew!

Many years ago Gunnel Tengroth at kennel Whippmix used Ch Play A While at Peperone twice with good results. Now Gunnel's daughter Catarina has taken over the kennel and Play A While Monday Or Tuesday has been confirmed being in whelp and her litter by Play A While Nokia (also from the "Finnish litter") will hopefully turn out nice!:))

Iva Kimmelman of Merci Isle fame is kindly letting us use ”Brand”, Ch Tangen's The Maverick Cosmonaut to our lovely “Juni”, Ch Play A While Late Red Autmnhop Ale. We expect Juni to come in to season early springtime and we look forward to use beautiful Brand on Juni.

Presenting Play A While The Hours 9.5 months old

"Harry" (By Ch Khalibah Snögubbe out of Ch Play A While Lady Orlando) is now 9.5 months old and we are very pleased about his development!

Harry is owned by Jenny Thomsson.

We are panning two litters at Play A While during 2011, it all depends on when the two bitches comes in to season and if that is suitable for Mona and Henrik. It is mother and daughter who hopefully will have litters!

Ch Play A While Late Red Autumnhop Ale will have a third and last litter and her lovely daughter Play A WhileTiimari will have her first. We are very grateful that Mira’s owner Susanne Forsgren will let us have this litter out of “Mira”!:)

We have not yet decided sires for the future litters but we are searching and planning at the moment and we will get back with information as soon as we have finalised everything!:)

Thinking about what to do!:)

Friday last week I made my debut as an official judge in Gothenburg. In conjunction with the big international happening My Dog the Western Sighthound Club held a specialty and I judged a number of sighthound puppies, whippet and greyhound. It was a lovely day with lots of nice dogs and I now really look forward to my next assigment in Finland in March in Kaarina outside Turku!:) In Finland I am going to judge whippet and Irish wolfhound.

Stockholm International dog show

In December Juni (Ch Play A While Late Red Autumnhop Ale) and Henrik went to the big annual show in Stockholm. Juni was shown in a very nice champion class but unfortunately Juni was not placed but got a very nice written critique by judge Lee Pieterse from Australia (Statuesque). Juni and Henrik had a very nice time in Stockholm staying in a very nice hotel with great service including free transport forth and back from the hotel. This was Juni's first outing in the ring for a very long time and we were very happy to get many nice comments from ringside that Juni was looking better than ever!!:))

Long time no seeing!:)

Have not written anything on the blog for a long while, have not happen much for a long time with the dogs and I don't want to feel the blog is “demanding”, I want to write when I feel good about it. I was supposed to have shown little Busan twice in October and November last year but due to misfortune we missed both shows so Busan (Play A While I Fädrens Spår) will not be shown in puppy class at all. Hopefully we will be a bit more active with the dogs and more to report on the blog?:)
